Aqaba is one of the most popular cities in Jordan when it comes to tourism. The city is located on the Red Sea, offering charming views, great accommodation options, and many exciting things to do for both tourists and locals.

One of the things that help Aqaba to stand out among other tourist attractions in Jordan is the variety of its dining options. The coastal city hosts many restaurants that cater to all different tastes and cravings, providing all types of international cuisines. In this article, we will list a number of restaurants where we think you and your loved ones can have the most scrumptious breakfast:

Mingle by the sea

What’s better than starting the day with a nutritious breakfast and a dose of calming sea views? Mingle by the Sea is one of Ayla’s restaurants, where you can start the day right with various breakfast items such as pancakes and waffles in different flavors, including strawberry, blueberry, and chocolate.

If waffles and pancakes are not your cup of tea, you can enjoy eggs made in different ways, scrambled, omelet, and sunny side up, in addition to a range of delicious breakfast sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. You can order German club sandwiches, halloumi & green panini press, and other breakfast sandwiches.

Mélange

Coffee is a morning essential, and that’s why you must head to Mélange first thing in the morning while at Aqaba. The café is known for the specialty coffees it serves. The secret behind the tastiness of Mélange’s drinks is using fresh coffee beans that are ground in the café, giving the coffee a rich taste.

You can sip hot or cold drinks at Mélange’s indoor or outdoor seating and choose from their healthy granola options or baked items.

Hattouteh

Hattouteh is the place to go if you favor oriental flavors over any others. The restaurant has authentic and friendly vibes and is perfect for a cozy family breakfast. Hattouteh is decorated with wooden furniture, and the walls have shelves with olive and pickle jars all around.

The menu features many Arabic food options starting from zaatar and cheese manakish to different types of eggs, in addition to the basics, hummus, foul (fava beans), and fresh pita bread. You can also order feta cheese and vegetable fakhara, halloumi fakhara, sausage fakhara, eggs with cheese, and more.

Baba Za’atar

Next of our top picks restaurants for breakfast is Baba Za’atar. The restaurant is famous for manakish; you can order cheese manakish, spicy potato manakish, potato with cheese manakish, and eggs manakish. Baba Za’atar also offers different kinds of pizza, French fries, hot and cold drinks.

Khubza & Seneya

Another great choice for Arabic food lovers in Aqaba. Khubza & Seneya is ideal if you are looking for a place combining traditional Arabic breakfast with a good ambiance. Customers can order their favorite Arabic food options and eat in the restaurant’s outdoor seating. The menu boasts many yummy options, including hummus with meat, hummus with shawarma, fattoush, tabouleh, halloumi fakhara, eggs fakhara, spicy potato fakhara, and more that will satisfy all carvings.
